I just finished this painting literally 10 minutes ago. I'm so happy, because I started it at the beginning of the summer, but at one point I either couldn't find the time or I just didn't feel inspired to paint. Today i didn't have any homework so I forced my self to paint and I'm so glad I did. I had forgotten how great painting is. It can be so frustrating, especially when my cheap paints dry way to quickly, but other then that I really can't describe how I feel when I'm painting. I guess you could say it's amazing, and it feels good to see the results. So heres the back round on this painting...I have a close friend, who I played soccer and cheer leading with, and she is super small. Standing at 4'11 and weighing like 89 pounds, we nicknamed her our cute little cupcake. And that is the random inspiration for this painting? haha the painting was supposed to go with her to college, but I didn't finish it in time haha. So yep that's the painting on the side, and at the top are some pictures that I took along the way.
