Another Art

There are alot of different types of art whether the painting kind, music, or writing. Another art that I enjoy is photography. I love capturing an image in a way that sometimes painting cant. It is easy and quick. There are so many angles and colors to capture. I have never had a awesome camera but i take what i can take. Not only is taking the picture fun, but so is editing. In a way its another kind of painting, the ability to change saturation or contrast adjust the depth, lightness, darkeness etc. I have a little sister, she is 13, and she is my little model. The other week we went to sunday park and took some pictures. The camera is not the greatest...but we had fun!

the most meaningful

"God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wonds." Pslam 147:3- "The Lord is near to thise who have a broken heart." Psalm 31:7

This painting is very meaningful to me. It started out as a doodle that i drew in class, and then turned into a painting for my honors art project. Last winter was kinda a rouph patch in my life and it left my heart very broken. One day I opened my bible and Pslam 147:3 was the first thing I saw. I went downstairs to share it with my mom and she had just finished reading Pslam 31:7. I can not begin to count how many times that has happened, where i randomly open the bible and i read the perfect verse of encouragement or comfort. It amazes me each time, and shows me how much love God has for me. Both those verses are very true in my life.

Doodles :)

One thing that I love to do is doodle! I dont know why, but when i doodle i feel relaxed and happy. Im usually not trying to hard so im not tense like i am when im painting. During my senior year I carried a small notebook in my purse and I would take it out in class and just draw whatever I could think of, or was in front of me. Doodling also can help me concentrate, I am able to listen and it keeps my brain busy. One time I was taking an physics exam and
I couldnt seem to fgure out some of problems. So I turned my paper over and started to draw the curtians on the window. After wards I turned the paper back over and my brain started working again and I finished the  problems. There are many occasions such as this, where doodling has charged my brain. We all have different ways of leaning, so I guess this is just my way. (this drawings are from that little book I used to carry around)
