I started taking art classes at my highschool during my junior year. As time progressed I would hang up my different pieces on my walls. A couple weeks ago I was looking around all my work and realized they were in a way a timeline of the past three yearss. Ihave twenty paintings hanging up around my room and each one brings me back to a time in my life. I'll look at a piece and I can remember where I was in my life an what i was feeling while i was painting them. some bring back good memories others not so much. But the whether it was done for a school assignment or something personal they are my story.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way ! I took Photography for three years and have almost everything I did hanging on my walls, I love to just look at them. I can always remember where the picture was taken, why i took it, and everything about it !
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you keep all your artwork for memories. I love art as well more of fashion designing though...but the feeling is mutual I keep all my old drawings for reference and it helps me realize how much my tastes and skills have developed.
