Favorite

So this is one of my favorite paintings I have done. It was one of my last that I did in highschool. The project was to find a close up picture of a flower or bones and watercolor it. I went with the flowe option haha. I have no idea how I found the picture I based my painting on because I cannot find it anywhere now. It caught my eye for a couple of reasons. I loved the colors and i loved the design. I knew doing it would be more of a challenge, but I was up for it. I used many blues, greens, purples, and even a little red. The white is the orginal paper. The flower is so perfectly designed and had such depth to it. When ever I doodle flowers, I end up creating them to look like this.
